Can you tell us a bit about your journey in establishing this business?

I have a heart for people that yearns to serve others. This personal connection with the community sparked a realization that I couldn't turn a blind eye to their needs.I started out with a former church member hosting ‘Motivational Monday’s’ with our youth, encouraging them to embrace their uniqueness and to trust in God.

What inspired you to start your own business? Witnessing the needs of the youth and people in my community, I felt a calling to address those challenges directly. The desire to make a meaningful impact led to HOPE.

Can you provide an overview of your business, including the products or services you

offer? HOPE is an outlet committed to fostering positive change through vision boarding and counseling.

What makes your business unique or differentiates it from others? The transparency of our panel discussions sets HOPE apart. We encourage authenticity, unlocking breakthroughs and providing a sigh of relief for those in the room who may be experiencing similar challenges. This openness creates a genuine and supportive environment for personal growth.

What does it mean to you personally to be a black entrepreneur in this community? I never really thought about what it means to me to be a black entrepreneur before, but it's an opportunity to be a role model, breaking barriers, and inspiring others in my community. It's about representation and showing that anyone, regardless of background, can make a positive impact.

How do your personal values align with the mission and vision of your business? Maintaining my faith in God is crucial in aligning my personal values with the mission and vision of HOPE. Regardless of the challenges that come our way, I rely on my faith to release control and trust that, with faith, we can overcome any test or trial. This belief is foundational in our approach to fostering positive change within our community.
